Who Is Wolf Pack Forge?

Wolf Pack Forge is run by Hadrian. They have been professionally making things for 10 years, and fully understands that sometimes they can’t do everything.

Hadrian has been a history nut and slight mad person for the majority of their life. They started re-enacting in 2002, getting introduced to a wide range of skills, such as green wood working, instrument making, leatherworking, tailoring etc., before eventually making a working trebuchet out of fencing posts and string when they were 16. Whilst the tip of the arm was about 11ft off the ground, it thankfully could collapse to fit on a roof rack.

They ended up studying an MA in Celtic and Anglo-Saxon Studies and History in Aberdeen, specializing in warfare and it’s effects on society, before then spending 3 years in Hereford training at the National School of blacksmithing. Whilst there they also had internships with smiths in Northern Ireland and with an armory in the USA.

After leaving Hereford they spent time working for high end ateliers in London, before leaving in 2020 to start working for Tod of Tod Cutler and Tod’s Workshop. Since then they have been making weaponry for Film, Tv, Collectors and Museums, and occasionally you can find them in the background of videos climbing all over a much larger Trebuchet.

TLDR: This journey started in 2013 via a out of the blue diagnosis that made them rethink life after university. This meant that once they finished their (what effectively amounted to a) History degree in 2014 they moved and trained as a Blacksmith.

10 years later, and several different jobs under their belt they’ve started making quality gear for the HEMA and re-enactment communities after realizing nothing fits short people, and most of the stuff breaks as soon as you use it.

Come along for the ride, as we start rounds of mass production (aka more than one thing at a time) and eventual video recordings!
